Privacy Policy

CoreWise helps companies hire people, and helps people find work. Both of those involve being trusted with personal information, sometimes the most personal information a person has. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

We have tried to write it in plain language. If something here is unclear, ask us. The contact details are at the bottom.

What we collect

When you email us. Our address is info@corewisewsp.com, and several places on this site invite you to use it. Whatever you put in that email, including attachments, comes to us and stays in our mail system. This site has no contact form, so email and phone are the only ways you send us anything directly.

When you send us a résumé. If you are looking for work, we ask you to email your résumé and a note about what you are after. That means we receive your employment history, your contact details, and whatever else you choose to include.

When you call us. We publish two phone numbers. If you call, we will have your number and whatever you tell us.

Automatically, while you browse. Our website runs on HubSpot, which records your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you look at, how you arrived, and roughly where you are. The cookies that do this are listed below.

Why we collect it

To answer you when you get in touch. To work out whether we can help, and to talk with you about it. To match candidates to roles and clients to candidates. To understand which parts of this site are useful.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it so that someone else can advertise to you. There are no advertising or tracking pixels on this site, from any network.

Candidate and résumé information

If you send us a résumé, you are giving us more than a contact detail, and we want to be straight with you about what happens to it.

Your résumé and the note that comes with it arrive by email. We read them, a real person, not a filter. If there is a role we think fits, we will be in touch.

We do not run automated résumé screening or keyword-ranking software on this website. Our assessment work uses tools like PXT Select, and those are used with your knowledge as part of a hiring process, never silently against a résumé you emailed us.

You can ask us to delete your résumé and everything attached to it at any time, and we will do it.

Text messages

If you apply for a role, one of our screening forms may ask for your mobile number and offer you a checkbox to receive text messages from us. That box is optional and it is never ticked for you. Leaving it alone does not affect your application in any way.

If you do opt in, we text you about the practical parts of your application: interview times, assignment details, and documents we still need before a start date. We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we will not text you about something you did not start. Message frequency depends on where you are in the process, and message and data rates may apply through your own carrier.

Reply STOP to any message and we will stop, or reply HELP if you need a hand. You can also email us and ask to come off the list. Opting out changes nothing about your application or how we deal with you.

We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or text-message consent, and we never pass them to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. The full terms of the text message program are in our SMS Terms of Service.

Cookies and tracking

When you land on this site, HubSpot sets four cookies in your browser:

A fifth cookie, __cf_bm, is set by Cloudflare, which sits in front of this site. It is there to tell real visitors from bots and it expires after about half an hour.

These are set when the page loads. That is the ordinary position for a site with a United States audience and it is what this section describes. You can clear or block all of them in your browser settings, and the site works without them.

Who else handles your information

We keep this list short on purpose, and each one is named:

• HubSpot, Inc. — our CRM, our website, and our analytics. Effectively everything you send us ends up here. HubSpot acts as our processor.
• Captivate — the host of our Caring for Strangers podcast. Episode players on this site do not load until you press play, so if you never press play, Captivate never sees you.
• Cloudflare — sits in front of the site and filters malicious traffic.

We also use ordinary business tools, email, calendars and scheduling, under confidentiality obligations, and we will disclose information if the law requires it.

Where your information goes. CoreWise is based in Louisiana and Arizona, and part of our team works remotely from the Philippines. Your information may be handled by our people or contractors there.

Text message consent is excluded from all of the above. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.

How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes described here, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

Website analytics expire on their own: __hssc after 30 minutes, hubspotutk and __hstc after 6 months from your last visit.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can tell us to stop emailing you, either with the unsubscribe link or by saying so. Email info@corewisewsp.com and we will handle it.

We will want to be reasonably sure you are who you say you are before we act on a request about someone's personal information. That protection is for you.

If you live in California

California residents have rights under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, to know what personal information a business holds, to have it deleted, to have it corrected, and not to be treated differently for asking. We do not sell or share personal information, and there are no advertising pixels on this site. We will honour access, correction, and deletion requests regardless of whether the law's thresholds apply to a firm our size.

Children

This site is meant for employers and for working adults. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will update this page when what we do changes. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version, and anything significant will be called out here.
